It combines a rigid extruded polystyrene (XPS) core with a durable cementitious facing, making it ideal for use around roof perimeters, parapets, and other vertical interfaces where thermal bridging needs to be minimized.

🏗️ Application & Installation Guidelines

• Intended Use: Designed for use as an upstand insulation around the perimeter of inverted flat roofs, particularly on the internal façade of parapets
• Installation Height: The upstand should extend a minimum of 150 mm above the horizontal roof insulation and maintain at least 300 mm between the top of the upstand and the bottom of the horizontal roof insulation
• Fixing Methods:
  • Mechanical Fixings: A minimum of three fixings along the top edge of each board, positioned >50 mm and <200 mm from edges and corners, with fixings at maximum 600 mm centers. Each fixing should incorporate a square or circular plate washer (25 mm x 25 mm or 25 mm diameter)
  • Adhesive Fixing: When mechanical fixings are not feasible, adhesive can be used, provided the board height does not exceed 600 mm. The board must be restrained at the top (via cover flashing) and at the bottom (via the roofing system, e.g., ballast or paving slabs on supports)
• Cutting: Boards should be cut using a TCT saw. Appropriate PPE (FFP2 or FFP3 grade) should be worn to protect against inhalation of dust during cutting
